About Karen Katz

Karen began her career as an assistant to Paul Hamann, then head of BBC documentaries. After a ten-year career in the industry, initially in sales and acquisitions at Miramax but later as a head of development at Trademark Films, she set up Coded Pictures to produce her own work. Moving to Mars, shot in Thailand and Sheffield, was her debut full-length feature. With numerous other doc and feature ideas hidden up her developmental sleeve, she’s now looking forward to what is next.
